USRP installation

Hello,

we want to use the N210 with Simulink. We got "Matlab 2011b", the "Communications System Toolbox" an the "MATLAB and Simulink Support Package for USRP". We are still waiting for the Hardware.

We have installed the Support Package and we have the blocks in simulink.

Is it necessary to install a UHD driver or comes it with the Matlab 2011b and the Support package?

Can someone list what we have to install so that it will work (We are using Linux)?

Hi Daniel, You don't need to install a UHD driver. The support package has it. You may need to update the firmaware on the N201s based on the versions supported by the package. Please see the documentation for supported firmware version.

The most typical way to access USRP help, after after you've successfully installed the support package downloadable here: http://www.mathworks.com/discovery/sdr/usrp.html, is using ‘help sdru’ from the command line.
