Type of Medical Image for PCA and LDA Feature Extraction

I am doing a research which is about using PCA and LDA to extract features from a medical image. Can someone tell me which type of medical image is more suitable for my research? I personally think that radiography (x-ray) would be better because it contains lower noise, while my friend think CT is better.
