Simulate guitar sound using a note function

Hi there!

I would like to create a piece of music which simulates a guitar sound. I have a note function with harmonics, but I can't seem to make it sound like a guitar, it sounds like a retro piano.

How can I make sure it sounds like a guitar? I tried looking over the "Generating Guitar Chords using the Karplus-Strong Algorithm" but it did not work.

Is there a way to make a note sound like a guitar in Matlab?

I don't know. I'd say start with some of the links on the right hand side of this page. Drill down into them as deep as you need. If there is nothing in Answers or File Exchange then you'll have to write your own, or hire someone to write it for you. All I got it the attached demo, which is not a guitar.
