MATLAB never works the first time I install an update?

My matlab lisense for MATLAB2022a was going to expire, so I downloaded the newst version from Mathworks. (my school buys the lisences)

I run the set up. everything is fine. I try to open matlab and i get bullshit. over and over bullshit.

I have to put in my admin password, over and over with no change or solution.

Why does MATLAB2022b work? why am i paying tution for matlab to expire and the new version not work when I have a final project due?

How bout this don't expire my lisence if your developers can get it to update the first time?

MAtLAB reached out and helped me resolve this issue. Customer Support is very helpful.

Expiration dates for Campus Wide License (and the older Total Academic Headcount license) are set by the university, not by Mathworks.

Spoke to my professor. He is having the same issue. He went the Universities IT support and he couldn't figure it out either.
