specify membership function parameters as a numeric vector

Hello everyone, I am using fuzzy network toolbox, for "addMF'' command I am getting an error like"specify membership function parameters as a numeric vector", What would this probably mean, I am not able to understand after going through syntax also. Can anyone answer me?
