Does there exist a smaller (lite?) version of Matlab?

Hello, I've a fairly small SSD and would like to have just the barebone/lite version of Matlab as the current size of Matlab (which is apparently over 10 GB as the installer says I don't have enough space for Matlab) is more than my Laptop can store.
How do I go about this? There used to be a list where I could just download basic of Matlab and then a bunch of features that could be selected from a list, but that doesn't seem to exist anymore...

Johnni, you have access to what is called "Total Academic Headcount Student" license. A license with approximately 70 products building on top of MATLAB. So when installing MATLAB only, without those 69 products, you have saved a lot of disk space.

And if that doesn't work. I am sure your university has options to remote on machines that have MATLAB installations.

I think he wants to know where is this list where he can deselect the 69 other toolboxes. Is that in the installation program itself?

Yes, it's in the installer if you don't select the standard configuration.
10Gb sounds high though, even for everything...

I’m looking for the same solution, and 10gb isn’t an exaggeration. It’s literally 13.5GB, it’s absurdly large. How it’s larger than Visual Studio is beyond me — I deleted it bc of this, considering redownloading.
