Please find the answers to your questions below:Redis does not ship with base MATLAB. In some older releases (R2025b and earlier), Redis was included with MATLAB Compiler SDK and MATLAB Production Server. As of R2026a, this is no longer the case; you will need to provide your own Redis persistence service to support these workflows. As of R2026a, Redis no longer ships with any MATLAB product. See the Release Notes for more information. The versions R2018b-R2020a of MATLAB Compiler SDK ship Redis server version 3.0.5 on Windows (and 3.2.8 on Linux). R2022a was upgraded to use Redis version 6.2.6 on Linux. R2022b extends Redis version 6.2.6 to Windows over WSL.
