Why importdata function doesn't work properly in compiler?

I use importdata function to read .txt file and it result as a struct on my MATLAB. But when I export to an .exe file and let other colleague use it with the same version of matlab compiler it doesn't work. As I investigate I found that the importdata has read the same text file not likely as it read in my MATLAB. What is the problem?
