Hello,
I'm trying to find a solution for fitting 2 sets of 3D datas. Best fit is corresponding of translation and rotation to do to achieve the best overlaping.
The 2 sets of datas to fit (see file attached) : 1) x1 (NxN) y1 (NxN) z1 (NxN)
2) x2 (NxN) y2 (NxN) z2 (NxN)
I'm looking for a 3rd data fit matrix (x3,y3,z3) with the same dimensions.
I have seen multiple function procrustes, rot3dfit, kabash algorithm but I have some difficulties to use it.
Thank you for your help!
Anthony

I have used the Iterative Closest Point m files. (<http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/27804-iterative-closest-point#comments>)
It seems to work well and corresponding to my need (if it could help you)
