how can find eyes and mouth??

hi guys.ı have final year projects.Face recognition system. I want to find two eyes and mouth.I'm rookie in matlab and ımage processing.Can you help me?(not viola jones algorithm).

And what's wrong with using the Viola-Jones algorithm? If it's because you need to invent some new and different algorithm, then you certainly can't use any algorithm we suggest.

my english is weak,sorry.I want to do face recognition system using matlab but I'm new in matlab and image processing. I want to find the distance between two eyes and mouth distance with the eyes.
