How can i increase sampling rate of input from rasberry pi (usb mic which is connected to one of the port of rpi)??..have a great time.

I am using USB mic which is connected to raspberry pi's USB port and i want to take input at higher sampling rate.matlab support or simulink support any solution is most welcomed.In alsa audio capture is limited to 48000 hz,but i want to take input at 96000 hz or above.what can i do?.Thank You.Have a great time.
