Image Comparison (Edges Detection)

Hello, I am new in matlab , but I am finding a good support and help by the community. thanks in advance. i have a question based on those image. this 2 image are in canny edge state. how can i compare this 2 image ? and the result show in percentage ? can anyone give some example in coding or any demo ?

Not really. I guess I'd try SURF first, but I haven't done it before since I don't have that toolbox.
