Operand stack and Execution stack Error using append_pdfs

Hi, I am using Matlab R2015b with the latest Export_fig and latest Ghostscript.

ranthe following code:

d=dir('D:\LD25\plot\new run\*.png');

d=natsortfiles(d);

append_pdfs('combined.pdf', {d.name});

got the following error:

Error using append_pdfs (line 111)

Error: /undefinedfilename in (combined.pdf)

Error in adh_adcp_dist_vel (line 65)

append_pdfs('combined.pdf', {d.name});

Let me know how to fix the issue. Previously it use to work, from yesterday suddenly it started working. Tried installing older versions of gs. Thanks much.

append_pdfs only accepts PDF input files, not PNG files or any other non-PDF files
