How to know the time that spent matlab in solving or calculating the problem?

Running tic and toc will simply tell you how much time passed between the respective commands.

Running profile on and profile viewer will give more detailed information, including the time spent in each subfunction of your code. It can be very helpful for finding bottlenecks.
