Java Exception Error for cftool

When I open cftool, I am unable to view the graphs. It gives me java exception error in the background. The version I am using is Matlab R2014a, and the operating system is Windows 7, 64 bit. For earlier versions of Matlab, there was no such error. When I went through other answers related to this question, I found out that the possible workaround might be to upgrade the drivers or run java related patch. Any ideas?

It sounds like you are hitting this issue?
Have you tried the
opengl software
workaround to see if that works?

Yes, I tried that. The same error persists. " Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" javax.media.opengl.GLException: GL Error 0x505 while creating ColorAttachment[type COLOR, format 0x8058, samples 8, 972x267, name 0x0, obj 0x62340c6a] "
