Serial Communication and Citrix

While I don't have Matlab installed on my computer I use Matlab through my school's Citrix servers. I'm trying to stream serial data from my computer's virtual (bluetooth) COM port, but Matlab cannot find any of the COM ports on my computer. I assume it is looking only at the serial ports on the server it is running on. Is there anyway to get my streaming data into Matlab through a serial read or by any other means? Thanks.
