i dint get that sir can you be clearer as per my project for a given data i have to do thresholding and do have to do peak alignment so i have no clue as how do we do peak alignment in spikesorting and why do we have to do peak alignment thank you

Assume that most of us do not know what "spikesorting" is (at least not under that name), and assume that 90% of your audience will not bother to google the term to try to determine which particular variation of spikesorting you are talking about. You would likely get a higher response rate if you were to include a link to a place that explained spikesorting as _you_ are using it.
