How to Start simulating matlab code using raspberry pi

I have checked many videos and blogs for how to simulate using raspberry pi and i am confused. I have my matlab code for project Steganography and its working fine in matlab, now after all that firmware update for raspberry how should i simulate my code on pi.

I am using matlab 2013b. Do we require a simulink model for it or the code will work on raspberry pi ? how to connect our pi for simulation, should we use !ping or is there any other method ?

Please friends I guess most of you have already done simulation on pi, help me out in simple way, this is my first college project and my deadlines are near.
