Simulating a femtocell to Macrocell communication link

Hi, I am new to Matlab and am trying to simulate an area of 1000m x 1000m with random femtocells and a single macrocell. I would really appreciate any assistance on how I could do this and would like to calculate the path loss of each link.

I would really appreciate any assistance and guidance on this task.
