Will I still be able to access my older version of MatLab (versions 12, 13) after installing the new license manager FlexNet.

We are still running older versions of MatLab (versions 12 and 13) Can I still run these versions after I install the new FlexNet license manger? Do I need to remove the older license file from the server?

Here is a generic reference.

In real life, there like is one release where it does not work anymore, my gut feeling it is R10. If you have a FLEXnet with a relatively recent version (couple of years), then the newe version will also support your older MATLAB releases.

If you are an administrator, I suggest to ask questions about the business need of keeping the older release. Sometimes there are some, sometimes not. Sometimes it is just anxiety to upgrade. But MathWorks can help with that.
