MatLab 2013a takes over 2 minutes to load, is there a way to speed this up?

Running slow, Windows 7 Enterprise, 4Gb memory...

Here are a few tips to have MATLAB ready more quickly:

• Is it possible to make MATLAB start up faster if I launch without the MATLAB Desktop?

They were written for a previous version, but should work as well for R2013a.
