I am using the R2013b trial version of the Polyspace Bug Finder. I just started using the tool today. As far as I can tell, I have followed all instructions to set up my project. I have run the tool a few times and noticed a couple of odd things. The "Run" drop down menu is inactive however the "Run" button on the toolbar is not. I am not sure how or why this is the case. Also even after setting the output format as Word, it is being generated in .rpt format which I am unable to read. Another thing that I noticed is that while the tool is running, the Progress Monitor is showing a time elapsed of 0.00 and 0% progress. I am also not getting the bar chart display (which came up when I ran the example) while the analysis is going on. Perhaps my settings are incorrect. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi !
The actions of the Run menu (I think that this is what you refer to when you write "Run drop down menu") are disabled in the Project Manager perspective, since they are related to the results. They are active when you switch to the Results Manager perspective. .rpt is the extension for a report template. You will see .rpt files if you click the Browse button to load a template in the Run report window. The "Run report" button will generate the report as a .doc file, if you choosed the Word output format. To open your generated report, use the menu command Run / Run report / Open report...
Your problem with the 0% progress is strange. I suggest you to contact the support, and to attach the log of your analysis to your support request. This log file can be found in the results folder.
Best regards,
Alexandre

Thanks for your answer Alex. But I am still having issues, perhaps some setting is incorrect. I will try to go through the documentation once again.
