calculated f(x) with a specific point x

Hallo can anyone help me? If I've a specific point x ,how to calculated f(x) with matlab ? for example : f='exp(x).^(2-x.^(2))-(2/(3+5*x))'; x= 3/2; how calculated f(x) ?

f=@(x)exp(x.*(2-x.^2))-2./(3+5*x); 
x = 3/2; 

out = f(x);
