Why can't I have more than one legend in my compiled figure?

I am trying to produce a figure that has more than one plot on it. The program loops continuously and updates the plots each time it loops (about every 30 seconds). Each axis has its own tag and I am trying to put a legend on each axis. It works fine when I run it as a MATLAB file. When I compile this to a Windows executable (.EXE) using the MATLAB Compiler, the first legend disappears after the first loop and the program errors out.

This is a bug in the MATLAB Graphics Library that has been brought to the attention of our development staff so that it may be fixed in a future release of MATLAB.

There is no know workaround at this time.
