Syntax

value = readParameter(tg, appName,paramName)

Description

value = readParameter(tg, appName,paramName) returns the value of the specified parameter paramName in the application appName.

Examples

Get the Value of Parameter

Get the value of the parameter myParameter from the application myApplication.

val = tg.readParameter('myApplication','paramName');

Input Arguments

tg — Target computer for the deployed application

linuxTarget object

Target computer for the deployed application, specified as a linuxTarget object. The object provides access to methods that manipulate the target computer properties.

Example: tg

appName — Name of the application

character vector | string scalar

Specify the application name from where to get the value of parameter.

Example: myApplication

paramName — Name of the parameter

character vector | string scalar

Specify the parameter name to get the value.

Example: myParameter

Output Arguments

value — return value of the parameter

numeric | string | enum

Returns the value of the specified parameter from the deployed application.
