Insight Through Computing: A MATLAB Introduction to Computational Science and Engineering

Written for undergraduate courses in computational science and engineering, this book provides a comprehensive introduction to computer-based problem solving using MATLAB. Each section formulates a problem and then introduces new MATLAB language features that are necessary to solve it. Topics covered include limits and error, approximation with fractions, the discrete versus the continuous, abstraction, and randomness.
