Matlab Script does not open even though I installed matlab correctly in R2020a-Linux Mint 20.1

I have a Matlab Academic license. After activation Matlab, the script does not open. I tried the specified methods. I don't know where the problem is, when I click on the matlab icon nothing happens. MATLAB file where is "usr/local/MATLAB/R2020a"

line matches the HostID of the license file.

Please try the troubleshooting steps provided in the link here, and let us know if it helped or not.

For your case, you should try the steps for the first reason ie: The Host ID for which the license.dat file was generated is not the Host ID of the license server machine
