How do I segment region of interest of veterbrae and find the height,wid​th,size,lo​cation and center of disk using matlab code.

 would like to detect automatically the vertebral body in a MRI image (DICOM). To know the centroid's coordinates.To detect veterbrae and location. To detect the centers of disks. Finally evaluate the space between the disk and the veterbrae.
