help in gardner clock recovery

I am working in a project its title is to calculate BER for baseband signal using picoscope and matlab:

what I reached till now is that I generated a waveform sequence in matlab of 127 bits each represented by 127 samples and now I am sending this signal continuously after uploading it in a form of csv file from picoscope to matlab which means that the signal is received in matlab until I stop the device from transmitting, i am receiving 100,000 samples and the next 100,000 samples and so, after that matched filter is applied to the received signal. the next step is where I am stuck in now is to apply the time synchronization using gardner technique to the signal but actually I dont know how to do that. if anyone can help me with that I would appreciate that.
