Are there any Early Matlab Manuals left?

I started using Matlab circa 1989. My first copy was ver. 3.0 or 3.5 and all the routines fit on one 5.25 inch floppy disc. The little red manual that came with the disc was no more than 100 pages and it started with something like "if you don't want to read this manual try this". I have since lost the manual (I think a co-worker walked off with it).

Does anyone know how I might get an early manual?
