I need to know the significance of R and C ports mentioned in the brushless DC motor block of Simscape library as I need to collect feedback from this motor block to be sent to hall effect sensor about the position of the Rotor

I believe you are referring to the brushless DC motor model found here and not a specific block. R and C are both mechanical rotational conserving ports, and this naming convention is found throughout Simscape Electrical. The letters represent 'rotor' and 'case'. Typically, you would want to connect the case to a mechanical rotational reference, and you would connect the rotor to the thing you want to turn. You may find that using an existing block with associated doc reference is more user friendly than trying to build off of an example model.

I lost my mind thinking about the meaning of R-C. I don't have a mech eng background, so I thought it was a mech eng convention to put these letters to symbols. To get the reasoning behind how you should connect these simscape models, this info should be presented prominently. I am doing the simscape on ramp, and so far I have not been able to see this mentioned anywhere.
