Hello.

I was looking for the information regarding USB joystick support in xPC Target. Found relatively old thread ( http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/newsreader/view_thread/96202). Anything changed since 2005? Is it still bad idea to start writing own drivers for USB devices for xPC?

Got the answer in thread.

Actually, I can't imagine any good application for USB joystick connected to real-time machine. If I'm going to build a test bed, I would use a real hardware which has analog or digital I/Os. If I'm on a testing stage I can control my real-time model from Simulink which can accept data from USB joystick under Windows.
