What is maximum allowable sample time for powergui block?

Hi guys,

I have developed an average model of DFIG wind turbine in Simulink by using discrete simulation type. The sample time is 100 microsecond right now in my model, but by increasing it to 300 microsecond the output of my model becomes terrible that physically does not make sense. Could you please tell me the reason of this and how can I make sample time bigger while getting approximately good results? Currently by using 'Accelerator' simulation mode, it is running almost two times faster. what is the best way to increase the speed of my simulation?

The sampling time depends on the dynamics of the system. If we don’t have enough sample point to capture the transient changes, we will get an unstable model. There are ways to speed up the simulation for example using an average value converter.
