Hi,
A few days ago, at the end of the day, I saved my command line space by standing on it and clicking ctrl+s. I didn't notice that matlab automatically saved it as *.mat file. Now, when I double click this file, matlab, somehow uploads all the relevant variables. But it doesn't open a screen with the relevant commands I did that day.
Is there a way to open this *.mat file in a text form, or somehow restor the commands I did that day?
Thank you!!

In your *.mat file, there is only data available. So no luck there, BUT
you can access your command history (if you have acceess to the same computer). Using the following command a window should open (you can dock this window)
commandhistory
Or you could have a look at the history.m or history.xml file in your prefir
