How can I find the data point inside/outside the polygon shape if the data are more than 3D?

Dear all, How can I find the data point inside/outside the polygon shape if the data are more than three dimensions? I know the function "inpolygon" in MATLAB gives us the result if the data point inside/outside polygon in 2D and 3D, but what about more than 3D? Regards
