i am doing apple leaf disease detection project in matlab.. i dont know how to segment

in first step i mask the green part of the leaf and then i use segmentation using k means clustering .. i mask the green part and get disease region i dont know how to cluster it pls help

Did you try the kmeans() function? If not, did you try the Classification Learner app on the Apps tab of the tool ribbon? What are your features? Like area fraction of non-green pixels or something like that? What are you axes (features) if you were to plot points in a 2 or 3 D scatter plot?

Your sponsor (whoever is giving you money to work on this project for them) should have images for you. I mean, it's a problem for them and they need someone to solve it for them, right? So they should have images, right?

Or is it just a grant and you can pick whatever you want to work on?

sabiya, start a new question, because this is not an answer to the original question. In the meantime, you should use the image labeler app to identify diseased and normal parts of the leaves, and train using SegNet or YOLO to identify and locate diseased regions, or CNN to just decide if there is disease any present anywhere in the image.
