Sorting and Distributing Excel Files in Matlab

Hi Matlab Experts,

I was wondering if there is a way to sort and distribute an excel file automatically with Matlab? Essentially, I pick up aggregate reports (clinical data reports from different clinical trial sites) every morning and have to sort based on the column headers (for example, Trial_Site ID). Then I copy them into separate excel files and distribute them back to the individual sites. As you can imagine, this becomes quite tedious as the data grows larger. If there was a way to automatically input an excel file and have Matlab output sorted (and separated) files that would be great, especially because the columns in the excel file do not change. I'm a Matlab beginner, so any advice is greatly appreciated!
