How can I make CoreAnimation error go away?

When I start matlab and plot anything, I get | CoreAnimation: warning, deleted thread with uncommitted CATransaction; set CA_DEBUG_TRANSACTIONS=1 in environment to log backtraces.|Things still seem to work fine. How can I make these error messages go away?

I get these errors randomly in R2016a under Mac OS X 10.11.4.

I have not observed the issue on OS-X 10.10 with R2016a.
