Try downloading from Microsoft and installing it before installing MATLAB https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=3387. Reboot in between installations. Try running the installers as an Administrator. Otherwise call the Mathworks for free installation help on Monday.

You can also send an email to support@mathworks.com but I really don't recommend it since that will be so very much slower than just calling them on the phone. Installation help is free for everyone including those with the Student Suite.

@Image this was the reply from support center
"Error 1935" indicates that there is a problem with the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package, which is required by MATLAB. The error typically means that the package failed to install properly.
To resolve this issue, try the following:
1) Install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package from an alternate location:
- Run the MATLAB installer and wait for it to finish unzipping
- Open the temporary folder that was created
- Run the Visual C++ installer from the following location
_temp_matlab_R20XXx_win64\bin\win64\vcredist_x64.exe
- Run the Visual C++ installer from the following location
_temp_matlab_R20XXx_win64\bin\win64\vc90\vcredist_x64.exe
If you cannot install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package, proceed to the next step.
2) Install any pending Windows Updates and restart the computer to apply the updates:
- Open the Control Panel
- Click on "Windows Update"
- Click on "Check for updates"
- If updates are available, click on "Install Updates"
- After the updates are installed, restart the computer to apply the updates
- Run the Visual C++ installer from the locations listed in step 1
If you cannot install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package, proceed to the next step.
3) Uninstall all versions of Microsoft Visual C++ and then try installing the version required by MATLAB:
- Open the Windows Control Panel
- Click on "Programs and Features"
- Click on "Microsoft Visual C++ #### Redistributable", where #### = 2005/2008/2010
- Click on "Uninstall"
- Go through the uninstall process
- Repeat these steps for every instance of "Microsoft Visual C++ [YEAR] Redistributable"
- Restart your computer
- Run the Visual C++ installer from the locations listed in step 1
If you cannot install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package, proceed to the next step.
4) Download and install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x64), which is available directly from Microsoft's website:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=15336
If you cannot install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package, proceed to the next step.
5) If you tried all of the steps above, but you still cannot install the Visual C++ Redistributable package, then there may be a critical problem with the Windows Installer entries.
If this is the case, you can try restoring the operating system to a previous state using Windows System Restore. For more information, see Microsoft's website:
Windows 10:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/windows-10-recovery-options
Windows 8.x:

Windows 7:

Windows Vista:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936212
Windows XP:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306084
6) If you still get Error 1935, then there is a critical problem with your operating system, in which case you will need to contact Microsoft support for assistance:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us
1 (800) 642-7676
I have checked all updates of my window. Also my matlab is in external hard drive. What is meant by Install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package from an alternate location: and onward.
In my country there is not support center for matlab that why i contact by mail.
Thanks

First of all, I don't know the answer.
Second, they deal with installation issues everyday while I only do it like a dozen times a year or so.
Next, like the FAQ says, there can be so many possible different reasons that I can't know them all. Once I just had to install the Visual C++ from Microsoft (not the included one in the MATLAB installer) and that worked. Once it didn't work until I had rebooted. Others have said that that didn't work. So there can be so many reasons I can't know them all.
Next, you're paying them a ton of money for the compiler and that includes technical support so you might as well get your money's worth. I know you have a telephone, and I know you have email and if you had used either one of those, you'd be up and running by now. Now you'll have to wait until the New Years weekend is over. You can call the main phone number in the US, you know, if your particular country does not have a call center.
And perhaps one of the best benefits of contacting the Mathworks Tech Support directly is that they can send you a WebEx link so that they can directly see and run your computer, which will lead to a very fast resolution of your problem.
Monday I hope you'll call them. Good luck.

Hi ,
there is ONE thing that worked perfectly for me :
Start "Windows Modules Installer" service (in French : the service name is "Programme d’installation pour les modules Windows") (Solution originaly found here : http://computerstepbystep.com/windows_modules_installer_service.html )
