MATLAB Image Acquisition FrameGrabInterval

Is it possible to change the frame grab interval of a camera based on an event or trigger? To conserve memory I would like to collect every tenth frame until a specific event occurs. After the event occurs I would like to be able to acquire images using the full frame rate.

Hi Garrett,

I assume that you are referring to the FrameGrabInterval property in the Image Acquisition Toolbox. Unfortunately, as explained in its documentation, this property is read only while running. This means that you would not be able to change its value when the acquisition has started. I hope this helps.
