What does it mean when they wrote something like this: f{t} = @(z) f_m(z, m(t)) :

Hi,
search the documentation for
function_handle
The first hit is what you are looking for. In short
f_m = @(z,c) z.^2 + c;
defines a function with one input argument. You can call it directly:
f_m(2, 42)
or use it to create another function calling it
f = @(z) f_m(z, 42);
Now you have a function of one parameter.
