for example , here it is written:
"J = imnoise(I,type,parameters) Depending on type, you can specify additional parameters to imnoise. All numerical parameters are normalized; they correspond to operations with images with intensities ranging from 0 to 1."
IT IS WRITTEN THAT ALL NUMERICAL PARAMETERS SHOULD BE NORMALIZED.. CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE COADING TO NORMALIZE THE NUMERICAL PARAMETERS AS I HAVE TO APPLY imnoise FUNCTION TO ADD SALT AND PEPPER NOISE. PLEASE HELP ME WITH THE CODING.

For Salt and Pepper noise, they don't need to be normalized - that's only for things like Gaussian noise. See this snippet as proof.
grayImage = imread('cameraman.tif');
subplot(1,2,1);
imshow(grayImage);
noisyImage = imnoise(grayImage,'salt & pepper', .1)
subplot(1,2, 2);
imshow(noisyImage);
