Is there any way to zoom on surf() in the limits of an uipanel ;;;

I try to zoom on a 'surf()' from uipanel but expands to all the figure covering all the other objects. Without using a new figure, is there an way to 'zoom on' inside the limits of the uipanel ;;;

No, that's a known problem that should be fixed in the next version, MATLAB R2014b.
