Colorbar renders ticks incorrectly

Hi,

When I make a 2 surf/imagesc or any 2D plot and use colorbar, the text appears all over the graph window.

This issue appeared at the same time as a lack of formatting in the help window as shown in http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/88861-matlab-help-not-displaying-correctly

For that issue there is a workaround however (patch http://www.mathworks.com/support/bugreports/989850)

Hi calos. I saw same disp,then I asked MATLAB engineer.

In my case, the reason of this disp was opengl actions.

Set this command "opengl software" in matlab command window.

If this command is effective,you have same experience as me.

That worked!!!

Typing "opengl software" on the prompt solved the issue.

opengl was set to AutoSelect
