Is there any way to process .mrc files in MATLAB?

I have to read,write,plot and modify some .mrc files. Is there any matlab function set that can do it?

I am not sure if there is a function in MATLAB but you can try the following submission which was written by a third party vendor. The submission contains a ReadMRC function file as well:

You can also contact MathWorks Technical Support to add this as an enhancement to future MathWorks products.
