CAN module
R2026bOn-board CAN controller module for XCP on CAN external mode communication
Since R2026b
Model Configuration Pane: Hardware Implementation / Hardware board settings / Target hardware resources / Groups / Host-board connection
Description
Select the on-board CAN controller module on the Arduino® hardware to use for XCP on CAN external mode communication. The available CAN modules depend on the selected Arduino board.
Note
XCP on CAN external mode is supported only on Arduino boards with on-board CAN controllers. Boards that use SPI-based CAN modules (such as MCP2515 shields) are not supported.
The selected CAN module determines which physical CAN pins on the Arduino board carry the XCP communication. When you change the CAN module, the CAN Bus Speed (kBit/s) parameter automatically updates to match the bus speed configured for that module in the onboard CAN properties.
The available CAN modules depend on the selected hardware board.
| Hardware Board | Available CAN Modules |
