Description

Use sltest.xil.framework.Stimulation methods to control input to the test bench. You can also use it to control signal generation on one or more test benches.

The sltest.xil.framework.Stimulation class is a handle class.

Creation

You cannot create an sltest.xil.framework.Stimulation object. A Stimulation object exists only as a member of an sltest.xil.framework.Framework object. Create a Framework object first and then use the Stimulation methods from within that Framework object.

Public Methods

setupWithVariablesAndData	setupWithVariablesAndData(vars_data) setupWithVariablesAndData(vars_data,LoopCount=value) Configures the Stimulation object of the variables with the specified data. Optionally, specify the LoopCount as an integer indicating the number of time to replicate the input data. Use the sltest.xil.framework.Framework displayAllVariables method to verify that the variables are writable. You can call this method multiple times to cumulatively add variables. This method also creates a StimulationConfiguration for each port. Input vars_data — Test variables and time series data, specified as a cell array of cell arrays.
start	start Starts the stimulation immediately, depending on the test bench. On some test benches, stimulation waits for Framework.start instead.
wait	wait waitresult = wait(Timeout=numseconds) Waits for stimulation for all signals on the test bench to complete. Optionally, specify the Timeout, as a double, indicating the number of seconds on the host for stimulation on the test bench to complete. Output waitresult — If you specify a Timeout, wait returns false if the timeout ends before the test bench completes the stimulation, or true if the stimulation completes.
stop	stop Stops stimulation immediately, even if stimulation has not completed.
