Third-Party Software Installation Issues

Issue

The Install Third-Party Software screen of the Hardware Setup process provides the Automatically Download and Install option. However, sometimes the installation of the software components using this option may fail.

Solution

  1. Follow the instructions corresponding to download/installation failure (as it appears in the Hardware Setup screen). You can also refer to the installation log (click the link that appears under Troubleshooting Information section in the Install Third-Party Software screen) to identify the issues during installation.

  2. Click the Reinstall button again.

If the above actions do not resolve the issue, change the option to Manually download and install in the Install Third-Party Software screen in Hardware Setup process, and follow the instructions to manually download and install the third-party software.
