Creation

Description

prop = Aero.spacecraft.PhysicalProperties creates a scalar Aero.spacecraft.PhysicalProperties object prop using default properties.

prop = Aero.spacecraft.PhysicalProperties(Name=Value) creates a scalar or a vector of Aero.spacecraft.PhysicalProperties objects using additional parameters specified by one or more name-value arguments.

Properties

These properties can be specified as scalar or vector inputs. The vector inputs must have equal length. When all inputs are scalar, prop is also a scalar. If at least one input is a vector, prop is a vector of the same length. The property values corresponding to scalar inputs are the same for all elements in prop. For vector inputs, the property value of the i-th element of prop equals that of the i-th element of the corresponding vector input.

Mass — Spacecraft mass

4 (default) | nonnegative scalar | nonnegative vector

Spacecraft mass in kg, specified as a nonnegative scalar or vector.

DragCoefficient — Spacecraft drag coefficient

2.179 (default) | nonnegative scalar

Spacecraft drag coefficient, specified as a nonnegative scalar or vector. When specified as a scalar, the value is applied to all spacecraft in sat.

DragArea — Spacecraft drag area

1 (default) | nonnegative scalar

Spacecraft drag area, in m², specified as a nonnegative scalar or vector.

ReflectivityCoefficient — Reflectivity coefficient of spacecraft

1.8 (default) | positive scalar

Reflectivity coefficient of the spacecraft, specified as a positive scalar or vector.

SRPArea — Solar radiation pressure area

1 (default) | nonnegative scalar

Solar radiation pressure area, in m², specified as a nonnegative scalar.
