Speech to Respective Image Conversion using MATLAB & R-Pi

This project is related to the speech processing domain. The word spoken by the user is converted into its respective image.

It is generally found that Speech-to-Text conversion has been developed but Speech to-Image conversion is also having a crucial area of application.The database can be increase as per user requirement.The method of MFCC for feature extraction and DTW for pattern matching is used in this developed system. The training and recognition model are built in Simulink to deploy on hardware Raspberry Pi 2 Model B. The performance of the proposed method in terms of recognition accuracy is obtained. The English word datasets gives 95.5% and Marathi word datasets gives 92.3%. The average accuracy is 99.2% for speaker dependent and 90.6% for speaker independent respectively
